Notice- Tropical Storm Laura-21st August 2020.

Dear Jolly Harbour Community

The Management of Caribbean Developments (Antigua) Ltd wishes to advise the Jolly Harbour Community that the National Hurricane Centers has issued a Tropical Storm Warning for the Northern Leeward Islands including Antigua and Barbuda.

All indications are that Tropical Storm Laura is expected to move near the Northern Leeward Islands, on Friday.

We are taking this opportunity to emphasize to everyone that their Hurricane preparation plans should now be in place. Please make your necessary precautions and ensure that ALL loose objects around your property are secure and that your hurricane shutters are operational and ready.

CDAL is closely monitoring this system and will be issuing further notices as and when the information becomes available.

In the meantime, you are further reminded to monitor any activity by checking information on the National Hurricane Center website: www.nhc.noaa.gov and the Antigua and Barbuda Government's Meteorological Office website: www.antiguamet.com and 24 hours Hotline (268) 463-4638.
 
Also pay attention to the local weather reports on ABS Television Channel 9/10 and ABS Radio 90.5FM.
