Dear Jolly Harbour Community,
 
The recent partnership between CDAL and the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda in establishing an outpost for officers attached to the Bolans Police Station, has been a step in the right direction. On Saturday, May 28, officers attached to the outpost, located at the entrance of Jolly Harbour, were able to apprehend a perpetrator, who remains in police custody and has since been charged with aggravated robbery.

CDAL, on clear instruction from the police, initially desisted from disclosing any information that would hamper the police’s investigations.  We have since been given permission to disseminate by law enforcement.

 

CDAL values the safety of its residents and regrets that this unfortunate incident occurred within our beautiful community. We pledge our continued support to the affected resident and wish to thank our security officers for their swift response time in contacting the police and relaying the information that resulted in apprehending the perpetrator. 
 
As we continue to make safety and security a priority, we are encouraged that residents within the area can feel a lot safer knowing those charged with the responsibility to protect and serve, will be doing so as a result of the new strategic location of the Bolans Police Outpost.
