Dear Jolly Harbour Property Owners/Tenants
Good afternoon. As you are aware Monday night the generator here in Jolly did not turn on as the back up power source as a result of a rat getting lodged inside a circuit breaker and shorting it out. This particular circuit breaker was the feed that connected the generator into the Jolly Harbour grid. As a result the generator is now effectively cut off the Jolly grid until a new breaker can be installed. Our engineer and electricians are working feverishly to effectuate this task. It’s not an easy one however and will take time. While this breaker is down Jolly will have no back up power should APUA go down as it has a couple times yesterday. Unfortunately given the enormity of this repair we cannot provide a timetable. Please understand that all is being done to compete in a timely manner. As part of the repair process our engineer needs to take down the power tomorrow morning. The planned outage will begin around 8:30 a.m. and last a few hours. We know this is not convenient but it is necessary to try and get the generator back connected to the grid. He assures us that he will make it as quick as possible. We do apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your continued patience during this time. More updates will be provided as the situation develops. Thank you.
Kind Regards CDAL Management
