Generator Notice-31st December 2019.

Dear Residents,

We hope this notice finds you and yours having a wonderful holiday season. Happy 2020 early!!
 
As we end the year we are excited to know that the generator issues of load sharing and auto start are behind us and will carry us into the new year. This is due to great work by our engineering team here locally and from the UK.

We are, however, receiving reports of possible vandalism recently to one of the units. It seems that one of the oil filter had been loosened overnight and was ready to fall off. Had our engineer missed this during his daily safety checks, this would have resulted in great damage to the generators possibly taking them down for an extended period. We are now taking measures to increase the security presence and strategy for this area.

We’ve also experienced several occasions where residents just walk into the generator control room unannounced and unattended. We cannot allow this any longer. This area is highly dangerous. This is an area of extremely high voltage and non-trained people / not approved persons simply are not allowed entry. We will be taking additional security measures to restrict this as well, but we ask that you simply do not enter this area for any reason. If you have questions about this system our team is always around and available to discuss.
