Dear Jolly Harbour Homeowners and Tenants While credit and debit card payments offer convenience, the cost to CDAL to accept such method of payment has totaled in excess of EC$290,000 for the years 2018 and 2019. With the current COVID-19 pandemic guidelines and restrictions on daily movement, it is expected that there will be an increase in the number of payments being made by credit card, and therefore an increase in the cost to CDAL. To control our expenses, we would no longer be able to absorb this cost. Therefore, effective immediately, we will be implementing a convenience fee of 3.25% on all payments made by debit/credit cards. In order to avoid this fee, you are urged to utilize other methods of payments such as those outlined below.
- Cash
- Online ACH/EFT payment – these services are offered by most commercial banks.
- Check payments. Simply drop your check in the drop-box located outside the Commercial Center office.
- Wire transfers.
