Dear Jolly Harbour community,
We hope this message finds you and your family healthy and safe during this lockdown period. I am sure you, like us, have kept a keen eye on the Covid – 19 situation here and abroad to ensure continued safety for everyone. We truly appreciate your patience during this period as our offices and services remained closed for the health of all involved. After regular communication with the unions and police regarding the updated regulations, we are now pleased to announced the full reopening of all CDAL operations & services starting Thursday May 21.
We understand there may be a desire to interact with our staff once we’ve reopened due to the extended lockdown period. We ask that everyone continue to observe the social distancing protocols until further direction. Also please continue to refrain from visiting the upper until further notice. The lower accounts office will be open but restricted to 1 person inside at a time. Payments can continue to be made via the dropbox or online. Should you absolutely need to enter one of the offices or interact with staff, masks are mandatory.
At this time we would like to extend a special thank you to the 13 CDAL staff deemed essential during the lockdown period who worked both from home, the office and throughout the community. These individuals dedicated their time & safety during the lockdown to ensure essential operations that included generator maintenance, desalinization plant, sewage plant, community security, general maintenance throughout the community and accounts continued so that the community’s operational infrastructure remained functioning.
While the lockdown is easing and our operations resume, it is important that we all stay vigilant in our safety procedures. Please work with us in keeping our community safe and healthy to avoid any new cases.
